What installation support can include
Depending on the machine and agreed assignment, support can include installation planning, positioning and leveling assistance, coordination of utility connections, startup checks, functional testing, trial machining or production trials, and operating guidance. The written quotation identifies the tasks included and the people responsible.
Who pays the installation costs?
The customer pays the agreed installation/service fees, engineer travel, accommodation and related agreed expenses. Required parts, repair work, local transport and any additional services are quoted or approved separately. These costs are not automatically included in the machine price.
What should you prepare before the engineer arrives?
- Machine model, serial number, available manuals and electrical drawings.
- Exact site location, access information, floor/foundation details and unloading arrangements.
- Suitable lifting equipment and competent local personnel where required.
- Confirmed power, air, water, cooling and other utilities appropriate to the machine.
- Tooling, workholding, mold, material or test pieces needed for the agreed trials.
Electrical work and lifting must be carried out by appropriately qualified personnel. We confirm task responsibilities before the visit; an installation visit does not automatically include every local trade or lifting service.
How an on-site visit is arranged
- Send the machine information, site location, photos and required work.
- Agree scope, site readiness, engineer availability and applicable travel/site-entry arrangements.
- Approve a written quotation covering service fees and travel/accommodation costs.
- Complete the agreed work and record results, outstanding items and any further parts or service needed.
Visits are arranged case by case, subject to practical access, scheduling and applicable travel requirements. Completion and output targets depend on the machine condition, utilities, tooling and the acceptance scope agreed in advance.
